Olga R. Signoret was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She studied art in the University of PR, Rio Piedras Campus and in The Student's Art League of San Juan. She continued independent studies in oil painting under the tutelage of renowned Spanish artist, Jose Azaustre. Signoret's main sources of inspiration are nature and the human figure, which she explores in oil, pastels, acrylics and mixed media.
